The soon to be founder Paul Broaderip begins in the glass industry. He focuses on precision cutting framing and installation. Most Scottsdale bathrooms use framed enclosures and glass is functional not a design feature.
A Cut Above Glass is Born
After the unexpected passing of his business partner Paul continues their vision and founds A Cut Above Glass in Scottsdale. The focus is top quality work and personal service.
Changing Glass Trends
Design shifts toward clean modern lines. Paul adapts early and moves from framed to semi frameless and then frameless enclosures. Hardware improves and tolerances tighten. Low iron glass becomes popular for clarity.
Innovation and Custom Design
The company expands into barn style sliders European frameless systems and custom partitions for baths offices and stairs. The team becomes a go to choice in the Valley for high end problem solving installs.
